James St. Arnold

Jim is the Training Specialist for the ANA Eastern Region Technical Assistance Center. Before joining the ANA Eastern team in 2022, he spent 29 years working for the Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission (GLIFWC) as a grant writer/Project Director concentrating on ANA grant applications and funded projects. After retiring from GLIFWC, Jim worked as a consultant providing technical assistance to tribes and organizations applying for grants from ANA. He also has been an ANA grant reviewer in the panel process since 1988.  Jim is a member of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community and resides in Michigan.
